Customer states check engine light came on over a month ago and noticed a huge lack of power. DTC code shows up as p0171 (system too lean bank 1). 30 seconds later I found the problem. LOL. Fixed that but the spark plugs are toast as a result. We did a compression test for good measure and luckily compression is ok across all 4 cylinders…
Moral of the story, when a check engine light comes on, HAVE SOMEONE CHECK the ENGINE!!!
